Aeroflex Microelectronic Solutions

Aeroflex Colorado Springs is a supplier of integrated circuits and circuit card assemblies for HiRel applications.  Standard products include MIL-STD-1553 protocol handlers, bus transceivers, memories, logic, programmable logic, microcontrollers, clocks, muxs, LVDS, SpaceWire and the LEON 3FT Microcontroller.  Our Semicustom/Mixed-Signal RadHard ASICs range from 500K to 40M usable gates using our UT0.6I to UT90nHBD process.  Our circuit card assembly capability consists of assembly, test and conformal coat in a high-mix/low-to-medium volume operation.

Aeroflex Colorado Springs’ commercial Mixed-Signal line consists of high volume System-on-Chip applications that incorporate digital, embedded flash, and precision analog functions. A wide variety of IP core experience includes data conversion, USB, flash, and processors. Technologies from 0.5 um down to 0.18 um CMOS.

Aeroflex Plainview manufactures advanced microelectronic multi-chip modules (MCMs) for airborne, space, shipboard, ground based and commercial avionics and telecom systems. Avionic products encompass MIPs microprocessors, SRAM/FLASH memories, MIL-STD-1553/1760/1397 databus, and transceivers. HiRel application products include PWM controllers, analog multiplexer modules (Mux), RS485 transceiver, resolver-to-digital converters (RDC), and voltage regulators and single board computers for military applications using MIPs based microprocessors. They also offers a variety of broadband, RF and microwave products for commercial and aerospace applications

Aeroflex Gaisler provides IP cores and supporting development tools for embedded processors based on the SPARC architecture. The key product is the LEON synthesizable processor model together with a full development environment and a library of IP cores (GRLIB). Our personnel have extended design experience, and have been involved in establishing European standards for ASIC and FPGA development. Aeroflex Gaisler has a long experience in the management of ASIC development projects, and in the design of flight quality microelectronic devices. The company specializes in digital hardware design (ASIC/FPGA) for both commercial and aerospace applications.
