This is the official page for the Wheaton Community Radio Amateurs Field Day 2001 operation.

Pretty much for the past four years and through the efforts of Dale Kwarta and myself, we have created a winning team of Field Day operators.  

Our motto if you will for Field Day is to "Have Fun!"  

We have been consistent with this throughout the several years we have been doing this, and through the efforts of all the operators, we have not only placed high each year, but.... the group has generated some real contest operators!  And for that, we thank you, the membership.  

This page has been organized to benefit all members, but is a specific site to announce 2001 Field Day Results, information about the stations,its operators, and the many, many volunteers. 

Through your efforts, the WCRA placed 2ND in the nation, out of 11 entries!  Last year, 2000, we placed FIRST PLACE in 10 Alpha. The year before, 1999 we placed FIRST PLACE in 8 Alpha!
